Online Kindergarten Registration Opens March 16th for the 2026-2027 school year!

Registration Help Day is May 7, 2026, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.!

We are so excited to welcome your students for the upcoming school year! Trip's Registration Help Day is designed on helping you with your child’s registration, including help with uploading all required documents.

All registration is completed online through GCPS, and documents must be uploaded digitally. Gwinnett County Public Schools no longer accepts paper copies of documents. You can take clear pictures with your mobile device or attend our Registration Help Day. Read more below.

Key Registration Details

Select “GCPS New/Returning Student Registration 2026–2027.
Do not choose 2025–2026 (current school year).
Click “Exclude” for any child already enrolled in GCPS.
Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026 to be eligible for for the 26-27 Kindergarten School Year
Currently enrolled Play 2 Learn students who will be eligible for Kindergarten next school year must complete online registration for their child.
Add Emergency Contacts (relative, neighbor, friend) in the event the parent/guardian cannot be reached

Required Documents to Upload

Birth certificate or proof of age (i.e Passport)
Two proofs of residency - One primary proof (non-contingent sales contract, current lease/rental agreement, current residential property tax statement or bill, current warranty or quit claim deed, current home purchase agreement, current homeowner’s insurance policy) AND one secondary proof (a current water or electric bill, NO GAS OR PHONE BILL).
Parent/guardian photo ID
Immunization and health records (Georgia 3231 Form and Georgia 3300 Form)
