Ms. Brandi Pierson

I am so excited to be a part of the Trip Elementary School Community! I am a proud native of Chicago, IL, and moved to Grayson in 2019. I received my BS from the University of Illinois, and my Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I have been a school social worker since 2007 and I absolutely LOVE the work that I do with students and families.  As a school social worker, I hope to break down barriers to education. I believe that all children deserve to be healthy, happy, and safe at home, in schools, and their community.  “I am not anxious to be the loudest voice or the most popular. But I would like to think that at a crucial moment, I was an effective voice of the voiceless, an effective hope of the hopeless” -Whitney M. Young, Jr.

Ms. Tiffany Peterson

Greetings! My name is Tiffany Peterson. I am honored to be joining the School Counseling Department at Trip Elementary School. I believe as a School Counselor, it is my responsibility to recognize student abilities and assist them in maximizing their potential, equip them with the skills necessary for them to achieve their academic and career goals, and help them develop a healthy self-concept and acceptance of individual differences. I take great joy in collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents and the community in building a positive school environment. In valuing my role as a school counselor, I also value time with my family as a proud wife and mother of a beautiful daughter and dog mom. I look forward to a wonderful year at Trip Elementary School and cannot wait to meet everyone.
